Golf Course Marshal

RoleOverview

As a GolfCourse Marshal, you will ensure smooth operations on the course by maintainingpace of play, enforcing golfing etiquette, and supporting overall coursereadiness. You will also coordinate with internal teams to ensure equipment andfacilities are in optimal condition.

KeyResponsibilities

1. CourseOperations & Marshalling

• Patrol and monitor the golf course to ensure smooth and orderly play
• Manage and enforce pace of play in accordance with course standards
• Ensure golfers adhere to scheduled tee times
• Collect and verify course tickets

2. CustomerCoordination & Etiquette

• Promote proper golfing etiquette, including repairing divots and ball marks
• Ensure correct return of golf bags to respective golfers
• Record and manage locker key assignments

3. Equipment& Facility Management

• Ensure buggies are clean, fully charged, and in good working condition
• Monitor and refill sand bottles for course use
• Maintain proper control and issuance of locker keys

4. Safety& Weather Monitoring

• Activate course closure procedures during inclement weather
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times on the course

5.Coordination & Reporting

• Liaise with Maintenance on mechanical/electrical issues related to buggies
• Coordinate with Technical team on locker key or lock replacements
• Report any operational or facility issues promptly

Requirements

• Minimum Secondary level education
• Preferably 1 year of relevant experience (e.g., golf course operations, outdoor operations, or customer service roles)
• Basic understanding of golf etiquette is an advantage
• Responsible, attentive, and able to work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willing to perform shift duties, including weekends and public holidays

AdditionalInformation

• 5-day work week (Monday to Sunday, rostered)
• Rotating shifts:
• 6:45am – 3:30pm
• 6:45am – 6:45pm
• 11:10am – 7:55pm (assumed correction)
• Staff transport provided from Kranji MRT
• Monthly laundry allowance provided
