About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Infant Educator to deliver quality care and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for infants aged 2 to 18 months. The successful candidate will independently manage assigned infant groups, implement curriculum plans and build strong family partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
•Plan and implement developmentally appropriate programmes for infants aged 2-18 months
•Conduct systematic observation and developmental assessments of assigned infants
•Design and maintain responsive learning environments aligned to infant development needs
•Build trusting partnerships with families through regular, meaningful communication
•Maintain accurate developmental portfolios and health/safety records
•Guide Beginning Infant Educators under supervision
•Comply with ECDA licensing requirements and centre quality standards Requirements
•HCIC or ACEY
•Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an infant care setting preferred
•Strong knowledge of infant developmental milestones and responsive caregiving
•Effective communication skills with families and colleagues Preferred Attributes
•Experience with developmental portfolio documentation systems
•Knowledge of child protection frameworks and ECDA regulations
•Ability to mentor and guide junior colleagues
