L2 Preschool English Teacher

An established preschool in the Pasir Panjang / Labrador Park area is hiring an L2 English Teacher / L2 Preschool English Teacher to teach N1 and N2.

This role is suited for a teacher who is not only professionally qualified, but also patient, dependable, warm with young children, and able to contribute positively to a team-based preschool environment. The centre is looking for someone who can provide consistent care, build trust with children, and support a safe and engaging classroom experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons for N1 and N2 children

• Support children’s learning, routines, behaviour, and emotional well-being in a caring and professional manner

• Create a positive, safe, and child-centred classroom environment

• Observe children’s development and maintain accurate records where required

• Work closely with colleagues and parents to support each child’s progress

• Prepare learning materials and classroom activities based on the centre’s curriculum framework

• Carry out daily classroom responsibilities, including supervision, routine care, and maintaining classroom order

• Participate in centre activities, meetings, and school events as required

Requirements

• Recognised L2 qualification for preschool teaching in Singapore

• Relevant preschool teaching experience preferred

• Able to teach and manage a class of preschool children with patience, care, and consistency

• Comfortable supporting young children who may need time, reassurance, and guidance to settle into school routines

• Responsible, dependable, and professional in work attitude

• Able to work well with colleagues in a preschool team setting

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Honest, organised, and able to follow through on responsibilities

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday

• Work schedule is based on rostered shifts within normal preschool operating hours of 7.00am to 7.00pm

• Saturday work only when there is a school event

• Saturday event involvement is roughly once a month

Curriculum and Work Environment

• The centre follows an inquiry-based curriculum

• Curriculum framework and teaching structure are provided by HQ

• Teachers are expected to deliver lessons effectively while adapting to the needs of young learners in class
