Lecturer (Business & Marketing)

Our client is a private education institution. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Lecturer for Business & Marketing to be part of their Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the Central - easily accessible.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Academic Quality & Administration

• Ensure all teaching and assessments meet institutional and university partner requirements.
• Conduct moderation and review of coursework, examinations, and results.
• Review student feedback and participate in student engagement activities.
• Assist in developing new programmes and partnerships with universities or industry partners.

2. Teaching & Academic Management

• Teach Marketing modules for Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and short-course programmes.
• Take on Programme Leader and Module Leader responsibilities when assigned.
• Develop and update course materials, lesson plans, and assessments.
• Prepare and conduct lectures, tutorials, workshops, and online classes.
• Mark assignments and examinations, ensuring quality and academic standards are maintained.
• Supervise students on Final Year Projects, dissertations, and research work.

3. Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead and support associate lecturers, including onboarding, observations, and training.
• Review and approve teaching assignments.
• Work closely with colleagues to improve programmes and student outcomes.

4. Research & Professional Development

• Participate in research, scholarly activities, and professional development.
• Maintain faculty qualification standards and stay updated with industry trends.
• Use research and data analysis tools such as SPSS, R, Excel, NVivo, and survey platforms.
• Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools to support teaching.

Requirements:

• Doctorate in any Business discipline
• Min 3 years of Teaching experience
• Working hours may include late afternoons, evenings, and weekends
