Lifeguard

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the swimming pool.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all pool users.
• Maintain daily records of pool users and manage pool bookings and usage schedules.
• Conduct swimming proficiency tests to certify students for participation in water-based activities, and maintain accurate records and databases of certified students.
• Prepare and submit daily operational reports.
• Maintain the swimming pool, its facilities, and related infrastructure, and work closely with the relevant parties to report and rectify any maintenance issues or damages.

Requirements

• Valid lifeguard certification from a recognised life saving organisation, with a standard equivalent to or higher than the Bronze Medallion Award.
• Valid certifications in CPR + AED, Oxygen Resuscitation and Standard First Aid.
• Physically fit and able to perform lifeguard duties.
