Math Teacher

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons to students of various learning abilities.
• Foster a welcoming, positive, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning.
• Utilise a variety of teaching strategies to promote conceptual understanding and student engagement.
• Drive strong academic performance and help students achieve their learning goals.
• Conduct engaging trial lessons to support student enrolment and programme conversion.
• Assess students' academic progress and provide timely feedback to support continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of students' performance, attendance, and development.
• Provide weekly progress updates and maintain regular communication with parents.
• Build positive and professional relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Participate actively in curriculum planning, teacher meetings, and professional development programmes.
• Adopt and implement the organisation's teaching methodology following training.
• Perform other teaching and administrative duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with a relevant specialisation, or a Diploma/Degree in Education.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant teaching experience, preferably in Mathematics.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational, classroom management, and time management skills.
• Creative, enthusiastic, and energetic with a passion for teaching.
• Possess a positive attitude and growth mindset.
• Computer literate and comfortable using technology in lesson delivery.
• Willing to undergo training in the organisation's teaching methodology.
• Able to work a roster comprising 2 weekend days and 3 weekdays.
