The Nanyang Business School (NBS), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) invites applications for two (2) open-rank faculty positions (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor levels) in the area of Strategy.

Requirements

Applicants for the Assistant Professor position should hold a Ph.D. from a recognized university

and demonstrate outstanding research potential, evidenced by publications or high-quality work in progress targeting top-tier journals.

Applicants for Associate or Full Professor positions should have a strong record of high-quality

research, at least three years of proven teaching excellence at the MBA/EMBA level, and established visibility and impact in the global academic community.

All candidates must have primary expertise in strategy and should provide evidence of teaching

excellence at the undergraduate or graduate level. Secondary expertise in entrepreneurship, innovation, or sustainability is desirable but not required. Appointment with tenure is subject to a formal review.

Faculty hired for these positions will be based in the Strategy, International Business and

Entrepreneurship (SIE) Division of Nanyang Business School. SIE faculty adopt a multidisciplinary approach and have published in premier journals, including the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of International Business Studies, Management Science, Organization Science, and Strategic Management Journal. We emphasize research relevance through active engagement with industry stakeholders and provide thought leadership on strategic decisions that drive sustainable growth and profitability in global and regional markets.

The SIE division comprises faculty with research expertise in a wide range of topics, including corporate governance, corporate and business strategy, digital platforms, emerging markets,

entrepreneurship, innovation, international business, and sustainability. We are dedicated to providing students with an excellent education, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in today’s dynamic and competitive global business environment. Our faculty deliver courses in strategic management, entrepreneurship, international business, and sustainability across undergraduate and graduate programs, enriching students’ global business perspectives and supporting entrepreneurship initiatives and education at both NBS and NTU Singapore.
