Requirements

Applicants for the Assistant Professor positionshould hold a Ph.D. from a recognized university

and demonstrate outstanding research potential,evidenced by publications or high-quality work in progress targeting top-tierjournals.

Applicants for Associate or Full Professor positionsshould have a strong record of high-quality

research, at least three years of proven teachingexcellence at the MBA/EMBA level, and established visibility and impact in theglobal academic community.

All candidates must have primary expertise instrategy and should provide evidence of teaching

excellence at the undergraduate or graduate level.Secondary expertise in entrepreneurship, innovation, or sustainability isdesirable but not required. Appointment with tenure is subject to a formalreview.

Faculty hired for these positions will be based inthe Strategy, International Business and

Entrepreneurship (SIE) Division of Nanyang BusinessSchool. SIE faculty adopt a multidisciplinary approach and have published inpremier journals, including the Academyof Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of AppliedPsychology, Journal of International Business Studies, Management Science,Organization Science, and StrategicManagement Journal. We emphasize research relevance through activeengagement with industry stakeholders and provide thought leadership onstrategic decisions that drive sustainable growth and profitability in globaland regional markets.

The SIE division comprises faculty with researchexpertise in a wide range of topics, including corporate governance, corporateand business strategy, digital platforms, emerging markets,

entrepreneurship, innovation, international business,and sustainability.
