Pre School English Teacher

Job Description

• Plan and deliver engaging English language lessons for preschool-aged children.
• Develop age-appropriate learning materials, activities, and games to foster language skills.
• Create a nurturing, supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and confidence.
• Incorporate songs, stories, and play-based methods to enhance language acquisition.
• Monitor and assess children’s progress, providing regular feedback to parents.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and safety according to school policies.
• Work collaboratively with co-teachers and staff to support children’s holistic development.
• Participate in school events, parent–teacher meetings, and professional development sessions.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Care & Education or related field (recognized by ECDA).
• L1 or L2 teaching certification (Singapore context; adjust if outside Singapore).
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• At least 1–2 years of experience teaching young children preferred.
• Passion for working with preschool-aged children.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Creativity and ability to adapt lessons to children’s varying needs and abilities.
• Patience, warmth, and a genuine love for early childhood education.
