Preschool English Teacher

We are an early childhood centre — we see every child as a capable, curious explorer, and we build our days around their questions, not just our lesson plans. We're looking for a Preschool Teacher who shares that belief, and who puts children's safety and wellbeing first in everything they do.

What you'll do

•     Lead a class with warmth and consistency — caring for each child's social, emotional and physical wellbeing alongside their learning.

•     Plan and deliver inquiry-based lessons, with clear learning objectives and room for children to explore at their own pace.

•     Keep track of each child's progress and share meaningful updates with parents and the Principal.

•     Run a classroom that's organised, well-resourced and easy for children to move through independently.

•     Work closely with fellow teachers on planning, displays, assemblies and the everyday life of the centre.

•     Treat every child, family and colleague with respect — regardless of background — and keep sensitive information confidential.

What you'll bring

•     5 years of teaching experience in early childhood education.

•     A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, from a recognised institution, requiring at least 4 years of full-time study.

•     An iexisting knowledge of inquiry-based learning.

•     L2 Certificate.
