Responsibilities
• Prepare, plan and conduct appropriate lessons to engage, nurture and motivate children in accordance with the curriculum. • Plan and deliver programs that facilitate active learning experiences both within and outside the classroom. • Monitor progress of children, complete progress reports and prepare developmental portfolios for each child. • Prepare appropriate teaching aids and use them in the implementation of the programs. • Establish effective classroom management. • Set up and maintain a safe, clean and conducive environment for learning. • Establish collaborative partnerships with parents for the children’s development. • Perform routine care and ensure the safety and hygiene of the children.
Requirements
• At least a Diploma or above in Early Childhood Education from a university recognized by the Singapore Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA). • ECDA L2 Certified. • High levels of patience and passion for children and do not view them merely as chores. • High levels of emotional intelligence, adapt in relationship management with peers and parents. • Experienced in learning activities design and centre environment decoration. • Enjoy working with children, and am passionate about educating children. • Good interpersonal and communication skills. • Flexible and able to offer help when needed.
