Primary & Secondary Teacher (MOE Syllabus) – Full Time #EC

Job Summary

We are hiring a passionate Primary & Secondary Teacher to deliver engaging lessons based on the Singapore MOE syllabus. This role is ideal for educators experienced in tuition centres, enrichment centres, or schools, who are committed to improving students’ academic performance and learning outcomes.

You will be responsible for teaching, lesson planning, student assessment, and parent communication, while creating a supportive and interactive learning environment.

Subjects (Primary / Secondary Level)

• English / Primary English / Secondary English

• Mathematics / Primary Math / Elementary Mathematics (E-Math) / Additional Mathematics (A-Math)

• Science / Primary Science / Combined Science

• Pure Biology / Pure Chemistry / Pure Physics

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Lesson Delivery

• Conduct engaging and structured lessons aligned with the MOE syllabus.

• Use effective teaching strategies to support different learning abilities.

• Manage classroom behaviour and encourage student participation.

Lesson Planning & Preparation

• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching materials.

• Ensure lessons are aligned with exam requirements (PSLE / O-Level).

Student Assessment & Progress Tracking

• Mark assignments and assessments promptly.

• Monitor student progress using internal systems and reports.

• Identify learning gaps and provide targeted support.

Parent Communication

• Provide regular updates and feedback to parents on student performance.

• Build strong parent-teacher relationships.

Student Development

• Motivate students to achieve academic improvement and confidence.

• Support exam preparation and revision strategies.

Professional Development & Team Support

• Attend training to stay updated on MOE curriculum changes.

• Participate in curriculum development and content improvement.

• Provide relief teaching when required.

Events & Engagement

• Support trial classes, workshops, webinars, and education talks.

• Represent the centre in academic-related events.

Ad-hoc Duties

• Perform administrative and operational tasks when required.

Job Requirements (Keywords Optimised)

• Degree / Diploma in Education or relevant field

• Experience in MOE syllabus teaching (PSLE / O-Level) preferred

• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in tuition centre / enrichment / school (for experienced candidates)

• Strong subject knowledge in English / Math / Science

• Familiar with exam-oriented teaching, worksheets setting, and lesson planning

• Good communication and classroom management skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
