Principal (Preschool) [East] #EC

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Principal to lead the daily operations and academic excellence of a preschool centre. The successful candidate will oversee curriculum implementation, staff management, parent engagement, and centre administration while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall operations of the preschool centre

• Guide and mentor teachers to maintain high teaching and learning standards

• Ensure effective implementation of curriculum and enrichment programmes

• Build strong relationships with parents and stakeholders

• Maintain compliance with ECDA regulations and centre policies

• Oversee enrolment, staffing, scheduling, and centre administration

• Foster a positive, collaborative, and nurturing school culture

• Support staff development, coaching, and performance management

• Work closely with management on centre growth and improvement plans

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Care & Education or related field

• Certified L2 and Principal certification recognised by ECDA

• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a preschool setting

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Good understanding of ECDA regulations and preschool operations

• Passionate about early childhood education and team development

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday

• Once a month Saturday required

Salary

• $5,000 to $7,000 per month
