Programme Facilitator (Bukit Panjang)

We are looking for a creative and energetic individual to join our Tinkering team, where learning is driven by play, curiosity, and hands-on exploration. In this role, you will prototype, demonstrate, and facilitate engaging informal education programmes for children and families.

• Design and facilitate interactive tinkering experiences tailored to children of different ages, learning styles, and backgrounds.

• Collaborate with team members to prototype and develop both guided and self-directed activities.

• Adapt facilitation techniques and programme experiences quickly to suit evolving audience needs.

• Source, organise, and prepare materials to ensure the tinkering space remains fully equipped and operational at all times.

• Support the planning and execution of programming schedules that encourage active and meaningful learning.

• Evaluate programme effectiveness and continuously improve facilitation approaches and visitor experiences.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative activities, workshops, and events in a safe and inclusive environment.

Location

• Bukit Panjang centre and occasionally Tanjong Katong HQ

Working Hours

• 42 hours per week (As per scheduled by assigned Centre/Department)

Requirements

• Friendly, proactive, adaptable, and creative individual with a passion for engaging children through hands-on learning.

• Prior experience working with children in schools, libraries, camps, enrichment settings, or public spaces is preferred.

• Demonstrates curiosity, initiative, and enthusiasm for learning and experimentation.

• Able to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Comfortable being playful and energetic while maintaining professionalism and respect in communication and conduct.

• Able to commit to working on Sundays and four weekdays.
