Job Description - Speech Therapist @ Woodlands

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Speech & Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language screenings, assessments, and evaluations using appropriate standardized and informal assessment tools.
  • Develop Individualized Intervention Plans (IIPs) based on each child's strengths, goals, and developmental needs.
  • Plan and deliver engaging one-to-one and small group speech and language therapy sessions.
  • Support children with Speech delay Language delayA utism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)ADHD Social communication difficulties Articulation and phonological disorders Feeding and oral motor concerns (where applicable)
  • Monitor, evaluate, and document children's progress through session notes, reports, and goal reviews.
  • Prepare comprehensive assessment reports, progress reports, and recommendations for families and relevant professionals.
  • Provide parent coaching and home programme recommendations to support carryover of therapy goals.
  • Collaborate closely with special education teachers, early intervention educators, occupational therapists, psychologists, and other professionals.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and case discussions.
  • Develop therapy resources, teaching materials, and communication supports to enhance intervention outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure confidentiality in accordance with professional standards.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to programme development within the centre.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Speech & Language Pathology/Speech Therapy.
  • Eligible for registration or registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC), Singapore.
  • Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, speech and language delays, developmental delays, or learning difficulties is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based assessment and intervention practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, proactive, and passionate about working with children with special needs.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • High standard of report writing and documentation.
  • Able to work on Saturdays (weekday off will be provided).
