STEM Enrichment Coordinator

The STEM Enrichment Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the growth and quality of PlayFACTO School’s STEAM programmes. This role involves overseeing the planning and coordination of events, workshops, and competitions, as well as ensuring the effective implementation of coding and robotics lessons across centres. The Coordinator will work closely with the teaching team to review lesson plans, ensure teaching quality, and enhance student learning experiences.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate coding, robotics and STEM programmes across centres.
• Align lesson schedules with centre operations and manpower arrangements.
• Review lesson plans and materials for curriculum alignment and effectiveness.
• Observe lesson delivery and recommend improvements to teaching practices.
• Guide teachers in lesson preparation, classroom management and programme delivery.
• Conduct training, coaching sessions and lesson demonstrations for teaching staff.
• Plan and manage competitions, showcases, workshops and programme-related events.
• Liaise with schools, vendors and community partners on external engagements.
• Support the development and enhancement of coding, robotics and STEM curricula.
• Keep updated on educational technology and recommend suitable platforms and tools.
• Manage robotics kits, equipment and resource allocation across centres.
• Maintain programme records, schedules, reports and supporting documentation.

Job Requirement:

• Minimum Diploma in Education, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Preferably at least one year of relevant experience in education, coding, robotics, STEM programmes or programme coordination. (Optional)
• Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple programmes and priorities.
• Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Confident communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
• Able to collaborate effectively with teachers, centre managers, partners and vendors.
• Comfortable using digital tools and educational technology.
• Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, reliability and ethical conduct.
• Builds positive working relationships and respects individuals from diverse backgrounds.
