Role Title: Student Engagement Officer (Full-Time)

Location: Teck Whye Primary School (11 Teck Whye Walk, Singapore 688261)

Contract Period: 1 August 2026 to 31 July 2027 (With option to extend for 1 more year)

Working Hours

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (Includes 1-hour lunch break)
• Fridays: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM (Includes 1-hour lunch break)
• Note: Rest days on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• On-Ground Discipline Support: Promote positive student behavior, handle canteen supervision, detention monitoring, traffic management, and conduct regular school patrols
• Student Supervision: Oversee students on in-house suspension to ensure rules are followed and meaningful tasks are completed. Provide in-class support for students with behavioral challenges.
• Case Management & Admin: Assist the Discipline team with daily operations, fact-finding, student/parent engagement, case management for at-risk students, and investigating incidents to write relevant reports.
• Home & Event Support: Assist school personnel with home visits, make follow-up calls to parents, and maintain order during school functions (e.g., Speech Day, Sports Carnival, Camps).

Job Requirements

• Education: Minimum GCE 'A' Levels, a Diploma, or a Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in student administration, pastoral care, or youth management.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, data tracking, and report writing.
• Attributes: High levels of empathy, patience, and a strong ability to mentor and guide young students.
• Security: Must sign an undertaking to safeguard official information.
