Job Description - Student Management Resource Personnel (School Discipline & Youth Support)

Contract Duration:

  • Initial Period: 13 July 2026 to 31 December 2026
  • Potential Extension: 01 January 2027 to 31 December 2027 (Subject to performance)

About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive, firm, and empathetic individual to join our team as a Student Management Resource Personnel. In this role, you will help promote a positive school culture, strengthen student discipline and well-being, and contribute to a safe and orderly learning environment. You will work closely with school leaders, teachers, and external stakeholders using data-informed practices to handle student behavioral interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Positive School Culture: Champion school-wide positive behavior initiatives and collaborate with committees to design character development programs aligning with school values.
  • Daily Operations: Oversee morning assemblies, handle student arrival routines, monitor student attendance, and implement timely interventions for unpunctuality.
  • Case & Discipline Management: Coordinate responses to disciplinary incidents, enforce appropriate consequences in a timely manner, and maintain systematic documentation of all student cases.
  • Intervention & Stakeholder Engagement: Implement tiered support systems for at-risk youth, manage targeted behavioral support programmes, and collaborate with parents and external agencies.
  • Data Tracking: Track and analyze student behavioral trends to monitor the effectiveness of school intervention programs and generate regular reports.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Academic Qualification: GCE "O" Level pass (Local Diploma holders from any course are preferred).
  • National Service / uniformed background: Experience gained during National Service or as a regular officer in the Singapore Police Force (SPF), Military Police (MP), Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), or Singapore Prison Service (SPS) is highly preferred.
  • Sector Experience: Preferably 3 years of working experience with youth or students in counselling, mentorship, or discipline management roles.
  • Core Traits: Demonstrated capability to nurture youth in an empathetic, firm, and supportive environment.

Working Hours:

  • Mondays to Fridays: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8 hours of work daily, inclusive of a 1-hour unpaid lunch break).
  • REST DAYS: Service is not required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public holidays, Staff Development Learning (SDL) days, and school holidays (unless specifically requested by the school).
  • Note: The candidate is primarily required to report for work on official school days with active curriculum time.
