Student Support Executive (Well-Being & Engagement)

This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact on students’ lives by supporting their well-being, behaviour development, and overall school experience.💫

• Up to $3,500 per month
• Contract Period: 11 months
• Working Hours: Mon-Thu: 7.30am-4.30pm (inclusive of half-an-hour lunch break); Fri: 7.30am-4.00pm (inclusive of half-an-hour lunch break)
• Location: North-East region

🌟 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive school environment that supports student well-being and development
• Identify, support, and monitor students with social, emotional, behavioural, or attendance concerns
• Provide guidance and support for students reintegrating into school after long-term absence
• Conduct daily student engagement (recess, lunch, after-school) and walkabouts to encourage positive behaviour and discipline
• Support student discipline case management, including basic investigations, documentation, and follow-ups
• Facilitate restorative conversations and collaborate with stakeholders (teachers, parents, school leaders) on student intervention plans
  

💡 What We’re Looking For:

• Diploma in relevant fields such as Student Services, Counselling, Youth Work, or related disciplines (or equivalent qualification)
• At least 2 years of experience in youth engagement, student management, counselling support, or behavioural intervention
• Calm, empathetic, and able to handle challenging situations professionally
• A genuine passion for working with young people and supporting their development
