Job Summary

You will conduct lessons for Primary, Secondary or Junior College students, aligned with the MOE syllabus, while mentoring and motivating learners. This role involves adapting teaching methods, monitoring progress, communicating with parents, and contributing to curriculum development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging lessons for Primary, Secondary and/or Junior College students in assigned subjects aligned with the MOE syllabus
• Prepare and deliver high-quality lesson materials, worksheets, and teaching resources
• Mark assignments, assessments, and examinations promptly to provide timely feedback
• Monitor students’ academic progress and deliver personalized feedback to support improvement
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
• Build positive relationships with students to motivate and encourage their best performance
• Communicate professionally with parents about students’ progress and areas for development
• Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Support curriculum development by contributing innovative teaching ideas
• Assist in centre operations, student enrolment events, and academic workshops as needed
• Participate actively in staff meetings and professional development sessions to enhance teaching skills

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (Education or relevant discipline preferred)
• Strong academic results in the subjects taught
• Prior tutoring or classroom teaching experience is advantageous
• Comfortable teaching small-group classes
• Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds are welcome to apply
• Preferred subjects:
• Primary: English, Mathematics, Science, Chinese
• Secondary: English, E-Math, A-Math, Science (Physics/Chemistry/Biology), Chinese
• Junior College: GP, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Economics

Other Information

Working Hours

• 5-day work week including weekends
• Weekday classes in the afternoon to evening
• Weekend classes in the morning and afternoon
• One weekday off
