Grace Orchard School caters to students who have been diagnosed with Mild Intellectual Disability (MID) and those with Mild Autism Spectrum Disorders(ASD). The school is specifically for students ranging from 7-18 years old who have Intellectual Quotient (IQ) which falls within the range of 50-70. The school is a non- profit organisation under Presbyterian Community Social Services (PCS).

Job Description:

•       Assist the class teacher in the preparation for daily teaching & learning activities and to present /reinforce learning concepts both in and outside school

•       Provide support to class teacher so as to ensure a safe and stimulating educational environment for students

•       Assist students, individually or in groups, with lesson assignments and projects

•       Assist to communicate with parents /caregivers on matters relating to class students

•       Plan and conduct CCAs and enrichment activities as assigned

Requirement:

•       Minimum ‘O’ level academic qualification

•       Good command of the English language

•       Passion and commitment in guiding children to excel

•       Boldness to meet challenges in adynamic environment

•       Good team player quality with personal initiative

•       Strong work ethics and pleasant disposition
