Account Manager - Solar Industry

About the Role

We are hiring a Solar Account Manager to drive growth in our Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar portfolio. You will own the full sales cycle, from first contact and financial analysis through to contract negotiation and project delivery, working hand-in-hand with our project management, O&M, and EPC teams.

This role is ideal for someone with energy sector experience who is comfortable cold canvassing, building long-term relationships with C&I clients, and presenting confidently to senior stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

• Structure and negotiate solar leasing and turnkey project agreements with C&I clients
• Prepare and review financial models to evaluate project returns and investment viability
• Prepare, submit, and follow up on competitive proposal and tender bids; lead tender presentations
• Hit and exceed solar PV project sales KPIs through proactive cold canvassing of commercial and industrial buildings and factories
• Collaborate closely with Solar Project Management, O&M, and EPC teams throughout project development and implementation
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with C&I customers, SP Services, regulatory and government bodies, and other key stakeholders

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Solar Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in the energy industry or renewable products sector (preferred)
• Hands-on experience reviewing and preparing financial models
• Assertive and results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Willing to conduct cold calls and on-site canvassing at commercial and industrial premises

Compensation & Benefits

• Basic salary: SGD $3,500 – $4,000 per month
• Performance-based sales commission (uncapped)
