AI Engineer（Junior Level）

Job description：

1. Support the development and optimization of search relevance and ranking on the Mi.com platform

2. Implement and maintain components of the search pipeline, including data processing, feature engineering, and model integration

3. Develop data pipelines to process large-scale structured and unstructured data (e.g., query logs, product data)

4. Apply basic machine learning and NLP techniques to improve query understanding and search relevance

5. Assist in implementing embedding-based retrieval and semantic matching models

6. Support offline evaluation and online experiments (e.g., A/B testing) to measure model performance

7. Collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and data analysts to deliver search improvements

Requirement：

1. Proficiency in Java

2. Basic understanding of search systems (e.g., indexing, retrieval, ranking)

3. Familiarity with NLP techniques such as text processing, tokenization, and basic semantic matching

4. Experience with Elasticsearch is a plus

5. Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English, in order to support coordination and collaboration with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, teams, and business partners across regional markets.
