Fuji Application Engineer

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled and experienced Application Engineer. The ideal candidate will have background in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) processes. The role will involve optimizing production processes, ensuring equipment efficiency, and supporting the installation and integration of software and systems to enhance manufacturing performance.

Responsibilities :

1. *Fuji SMT Equipment Programming:*

- Develop, optimize, and maintain programs for Fuji SMT machines (e.g., NXT, XP, AIMEX).

- Ensure accurate and efficient machine setup for new product introductions (NPI).

- Troubleshoot and resolve programming-related issues to minimize downtime.

2. *Cycle Time Analysis:*

- Analyze and optimize cycle times for SMT production lines to improve throughput and efficiency.

- Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to reduce production cycle times.

- Collaborate with production teams to ensure optimal machine performance.

3. *System Integration:*

- Support the integration of Fuji SMT equipment with other manufacturing systems (e.g., MES, ERP).

- Ensure seamless communication between SMT machines and peripheral systems.

- Participate in the implementation of new technologies and equipment upgrades.

4. *Fuji Software Installation and Implementation:*

- Lead the installation, configuration, and implementation of Fuji software (e.g., Fuji Flexa, Nexim) across SMT production lines.

- Ensure proper integration of Fuji software with existing manufacturing systems and workflows.

- Provide training and support to operators and technicians on Fuji software usage.

5. *Process Optimization:*

- Monitor and improve SMT processes to enhance quality, yield, and efficiency.

- Conduct root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective actions.

- Maintain documentation for process changes and improvements.

6. *Technical Support:*

- Provide technical support to production teams for Fuji SMT equipment and software.

- Train operators and technicians on machine operation, maintenance, and software usage.

- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

7. *Technical Skills:*

- Knowledge of *Oracle* and *SQL* for database management and integration.

- Experience with *SECS/GEM* standards for equipment communication and data exchange.

8. Degree, NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in relevant field.
