Application Engineer – High Frequency/RF

Job Summary:

The Application Engineer - Electonics will be responsible for providing pre/post sales technical support for CADFEM's simulation solutions in the area of Electronics Design and Electromagnetics. This role involves close collaboration with customers to help them solve complex engineering problems related to high-speed electronics, power integrity, signal integrity, RF/Microwave systems and multiphysics coupling

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and guidance to customers using ANSYS Electronics (HFSS, SIwave, Icepak, Maxwell, AEDT, etc)
• Develop and deliver technical demonstrations, benchmarks, and proof-of-concepts to address customer design challenges
• Collaborate with sales and business development teams to identify customer needs and propose suitable simulation-based solutions
• Conduct training programs, webinars and workshop to enhace customer competence and product adoption
• Support customers in simulaiton setup, design validation and optimization for applications such as EMC/EMI, RF design, PCB analysis and thermal management
• Resolve technical queries and provide timely post-sales assistance to ensure customer success
• Collborate with CADFEM's regional and global teams to share knowledge, best practices and technical contents (case studies, white papers, tutorials)
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in ANSYS Electronics simulation tools and emerging industry technologies (5G, IoT, EV electronics, etc)

Job Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with ANSYS Electronics tools (HFSS, SIwave, Maxwell, Icepak) or similar EM simulation software
• Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory, PCB design, signal and power integrity, and RF/Microwave design principles
• Experience with thermal and multiphysics simulation in electronics systems
• Exposure to CAD and PCB tools (Altium, Cadence, Mentor Graphics) Programming or scripting skills (Python, MATLAB or VBScript) for simulation automation
• Prior experience in pre-sales, consulting, or customer support roles in CAE.EDA industries
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-fuctional environment
