Assembly Technician (Defense Industry, Fresh Grads are welcome)

ALG is currently recruiting for Assembly Technician to work at a workshop facility in the west of Singapore.

This role offers an exciting long-term contract opportunity, with a primary focus on vehicle assembly.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform assembly of vehicles, including installation and integration of mechanical and electrical components, in accordance to the process instructions and quality standards 

• Perform routine vehicle checks to ensure reliability, safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and report any assembly defects, or technical issues to supervisors for corrective action. 

• Complete job documentation, including checklists and service records, accurately and promptly. 

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment safely and effectively. 

• OJT training will be provided 

• Any other ad-hoc matters to support the team. 

Job Requirements:

• Possess a NITEC or Diploma in a relevant field.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in an automotive or engineering environment.

• Ability to perform shift work and overtime when required 

• Able to read and write in English
