Assistant ACMV Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the ACMV Manager in overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of ACMV projects from commencement to handover.
• Coordinate and supervise site activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications.
• Manage and coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize delays.
• Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and material submissions for compliance.
• Ensure all ACMV works comply with local regulations, industry standards, and workplace safety requirements.
• Plan and monitor manpower deployment, material procurement, equipment utilization, and subcontractor performance.
• Attend project coordination meetings, site inspections, and client meetings, and prepare progress reports when required.
• Assist in project cost control, budgeting, variation orders, and claims.
• Support testing, commissioning, inspections, defect rectification, and final project handover.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers, site supervisors, and technical staff.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the ACMV Manager or Management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in ACMV project management or engineering, preferably in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of ACMV systems, including chilled water systems, VRV/VRF systems, ventilation, ductwork, and mechanical services.
• Good understanding of Singapore building codes, BCA requirements, workplace safety regulations, and relevant engineering standards.
• Experience in managing multiple ACMV projects simultaneously.
• Ability to review engineering drawings, technical documents, and project specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. Knowledge of BIM/Revit will be an added advantage.
• Able to work independently, manage project priorities, and meet tight project deadlines.
• Possession of a valid Class 3 driving licence will be an added advantage.
