Assistant Design Engineer ($3,500 5 days Tampines)

Our Client, with a market presence in Europe, America, and Asia, is inviting qualified candidates to fill the position as Assistant Mechanical Engineer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks based on engineering requirements and concepts.

• Prepare manufacturing drawings, including GD&T, tolerances, BOM, and material specifications.

• Work closely with stakeholders, project managers, and cross-functional teams to refine designs and ensure manufacturability and compliance with standards.

• Update and maintain drawing revisions, documentation, and CAD data management.

• Support prototyping, testing, and production by providing accurate technical drawings and resolving design issues.

• Demonstrate a hands-on attitude by supporting prototype builds, performing basic assembly checks, and troubleshooting design issues directly on parts or assemblies.
  
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

• 1 year relevant experience

• Good knowledge, ability, and competency in SolidWorks

• Good understanding of mechanical design and technical drawings

• Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software (SolidWorks)

• Detail-oriented with strong technical and problem-solving skills

• Good team player with a positive learning attitude

• Location: Tampines

• Working Days/Hours: 5 days / 9am - 6.30pm

• Salary: $3,500 + bonus + AWS (salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
