About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and technically competent Engineer / Assistant Engineer to join our Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electronic security systems, including Access Control, CCTV, Alarm, and other ELV solutions. You will work closely with customers, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within specification, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, test, and commission Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Alarm, and other electronic security systems.
• Perform wiring, termination, and troubleshooting of access control devices, including card readers, controllers, electromagnetic locks, electric strikes, exit buttons, door contacts, and related equipment.
• Interpret, prepare, and update electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and AutoCAD drawings.
• Conduct system testing, fault diagnosis, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
• Provide technical support for system upgrades, maintenance activities, and customer service requests.
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure successful project implementation and timely completion.

• Attend site meetings, inspections, testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
• Ensure all engineering works comply with project specifications, safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
• Prepare technical documentation, testing and commissioning reports, as-built drawings, maintenance reports, and project records.
• Provide on-site technical support and respond to emergency maintenance or troubleshooting requests when required.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives and recommend technical solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Access Control, CCTV, Security Systems, ELV Systems, or Electrical Engineering. Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge are encouraged to apply for the Assistant Engineer position.
• Good knowledge of electronic security systems, including access control hardware, controllers, relay logic, power supplies, and electrical circuits.
• Strong understanding of electrical wiring, fault diagnosis, and interpretation of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Proficient in AutoCAD for preparing and modifying engineering drawings.
• Hands-on experience in the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of security or ELV systems is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking, IP devices, and IT troubleshooting is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service mindset.
• Willing to travel to customer and project sites as required.
• Possession of a valid driving licence will be an added advantage.
