ASSISTANT QUALITY CONTROL/ASSURANCE ENGINEER

Job Description:

a. Assist Customer Quality Engineer (CQE), to communicate on all the quality and technical enquiry related to part quality, build-to-print, drawing specifications compliance with customers.

b. Assist the team to develop Part Qualification Process (PQP) periodically review & update it.

c. Create and Manage the SPC data uploading in to SSPCM portal and perform SPC plots for PQP.

d. Provide Quality Assurance feedback to the manufacturing processes of products and assemblies, from customer DMRs, Field NCs, DOAs, escalations & quality issues from regular communications.

e. New Part / Project coordination and preparation of First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation & facilitate submission, along with the required quality reports to customers’ database & FPY tracking.

f. Facilitate and provide disposition on quarantine parts in Materials Review Board (MRB) as part of the team and conduct Non-Conformance Review (NCR) with the team.

g. Support QA Admin function and quality document uploading in to customer database as required.

h. Perform visual and simple dimensional inspections using hand tools to expedite QC inspections.

i. Self-motivated young and energetic engineer able to perform physical work as and when required.

Requirements:

- Assistant QA Engineer shall support Quality Engineer to facilitate and resolve quality issues pertaining to products manufactured and services rendered by the company.

- Able to perform engineering evaluation of parts with customer drawings. Read & interpret mechanical components fabrication drawings. Move RMA and RTV Jobs to relevant workstations with Job Traveller.

- Mechanical fabrication parts knowledge and able to support in problem solving approaches, preferably 8D methodology for customer quality issues with a cross functional team effort in identifying the actual root causes of issues, deriving and implementing containment, corrective & preventive actions.

-QA knowledge and experience in tools and techniques such as Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T), 7QC tools, Control Plans, Process Flow Charts, SPC, FMEA, GR&R etc. is preferred.
