Arup is seeking an experienced Associate Principal Structural Engineer to help lead our Property Structures team in Singapore, driving technical excellence, business growth, and team development. This is a strategic leadership role that blends design expertise, client engagement, and operational management within a globally respected firm.

The Opportunity

• Lead, manage, and grow a high-performing structural engineering team focused on property and tall building projects

• Drive business development by identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and strengthening market presence

• Guide the delivery of complex structural designs and ensure quality, sustainability, and compliance in all project outputs

• Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-impact team culture

• Represent Arup at industry events and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across disciplines and geographies

Is this role right for you?

• A degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering and eligibility for PE

• Extensive experience in the structural design of tall buildings and consultancy leadership

• Proven commercial acumen with the ability to drive profitability and identify market trends

• Strong communication and strategic thinking skills, with experience influencing clients and stakeholders

• A solid understanding of the Singapore market and a strong professional network within the industry
