Automotive Installation Technician

Job Description

1. Install, dismantle and maintenance units as required - Install, remove, and maintain hardware (GPS trackers, mobile CCTV, and sensor devices) in various vehicles, including passenger cars, trucks, buses, and others.
2. Conduct basic level of rectification and fault finding - Conduct thorough checks and tests to pinpoint the underlying cause of the malfunctioning hardware. If necessary, replace the faulty hardware components.
3. Conduct quality check on devices before installation- Before installing the vehicle, conduct tests on the hardware to ensure all functions are operating correctly.
4. Attend to customers ticket escalation from support team
5. Ensure job forms are filled timely and accurately to operations manager for KPI tracking and reporting

Requirements:

1. Have experience in handling motor vehicles, especially in the electrical part of the vehicle
2. Have basic knowledge of electrical, automotive and electronic equipment
