BIM LEAD

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated BIM Lead to lead the BIM implementation and coordination for a landmark project. The successful candidate will oversee BIM workflows, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensure model quality, and drive digital collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

BIM Leadership

• Lead and supervise the BIM team, including BIM Coordinators and BIM Modelers.
• Establish and implement BIM standards, workflows, and best practices across the project.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to the BIM team.
• Ensure all BIM deliverables meet project and client requirements.

BIM Coordination

• Coordinate BIM activities across Architectural, Structural, MEP, and specialist disciplines.
• Facilitate BIM coordination meetings and manage multidisciplinary model integration.
• Perform model reviews and coordinate clash detection and resolution using Navisworks.
• Work closely with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders to resolve BIM-related issues.

Model Quality & Information Management

• Perform model auditing and quality control to ensure compliance with project BIM standards.
• Manage model revisions, approvals, and document control within the Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Ensure BIM models are accurate, coordinated, and delivered according to project milestones.
• Maintain information consistency throughout the project lifecycle.

Digital Collaboration

• Support the implementation of digital engineering initiatives and BIM best practices.
• Promote effective collaboration using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or other CDE platforms.
• Identify opportunities to improve BIM workflows and project efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in BIM, digital engineering, design, or construction.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a BIM Lead, BIM Manager, or BIM Coordinator leadership role.
• Strong understanding of BIM standards and information management principles.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in:

• Autodesk Revit
• Navisworks
• Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or other Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms
• BIM coordination and clash detection workflows
• Model auditing and quality control
• Digital collaboration platforms
