BIM Modeller

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically competent BIM Modeller with an architectural background to support the delivery of BIM projects across various stages of design and construction. The role focuses on developing and maintaining accurate BIM models, ensuring model quality, consistency, and compliance with project BIM standards, particularly for LTA and major civil infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update architectural BIM models using Autodesk Revit in accordance with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), Level of Development (LOD) requirements, and project modelling standards.

• Produce detailed BIM models covering architectural layouts, building elements, finishes, fixtures, and other architectural components from concept design through construction and as-built stages.

• Ensure BIM models comply with established naming conventions, file management procedures, and model quality standards.

• Participate in multidisciplinary BIM coordination reviews, identifying and resolving clashes between architectural, structural, civil, and MEP models.

• Support the BIM Coordinator in performing clash detection using Navisworks or equivalent BIM coordination software and update models to address identified issues.

• Generate construction drawings, coordinated shop drawings, and presentation materials directly from BIM models.

• Maintain consistency between BIM models and drawing documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

• Assist in the preparation of as-built BIM models and project handover documentation upon project completion.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Interior Architecture, or a closely related design discipline.

• BIM-specific certifications (e.g., Autodesk Certified User/Professional in Revit, or equivalent) will be an advantage.

• Hands-on experience in BIM modelling, preferably within a construction contractor, civil engineering firm, or architectural consultancy.

• Strong architectural background with proven experience in developing and maintaining architectural BIM models for construction projects.

• Experience on LTA projects (e.g., MRT, LRT, bus interchanges, road, tunnel, or station infrastructure) is highly preferred.
