BIM Modeller (Precast)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare precast shop drawings for HDB projects.

• Develop detailed 3D models of precast concrete components, including walls, beams, columns, slabs, and connections, using BIM software such as Revit or Tekla Structures.

• Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings to generate accurate models and shop drawings for precast manufacturing and fabrication.

• Raise RFIs (Requests for Information) when inconsistencies or discrepancies are identified in consultant drawings.

• Revise and update models and shop drawings based on comments, feedback, and project requirements.

• Issue approved shop drawings to the production team for manufacturing purposes.

• Coordinate with other drafters and modelers to ensure the accuracy and consistency of models and drawings.

• Develop and maintain standardized models for precast components.

Requirements

• Diploma or ITE qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.

• Proficient in Tekla Structures for precast modeling and detailing.

• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.

• Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings accurately.

• Familiarity with precast concrete manufacturing and fabrication processes is an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively within a collaborative project environment.
