Job Summary

Drive business growth by developing sheet metal and machining sales across Singapore and Southeast Asia. Lead client acquisition, market research, and strategic initiatives while ensuring operational excellence and fostering strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to acquire new clients and achieve annual sales targets in sheet metal and machining sectors across Singapore and Southeast Asia
• Conduct comprehensive market research and analyze industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic business decisions
• Maintain and deepen relationships with key clients through regular follow-ups and identification of potential new orders
• Prepare and manage client quotations, lead negotiations, and finalize contract agreements for sheet metal solutions
• Collaborate closely with production and quality teams to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
• Represent the company at Singapore industry exhibitions to promote company capabilities and expand market presence

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Marketing, Business, or related fields
• Over 3 years of proven business development experience in sheet metal or machining within Singapore manufacturing industries
• Proficient knowledge of sheet metal processes and familiarity with Singapore manufacturing standards
• Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin to facilitate collaboration with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and colleagues in China
• Experience in Southeast Asian markets is advantageous
• Demonstrated skills in negotiation, communication, resilience under pressure, and independent business development capability
