Business Development Manager (AV)

Key Responsibilities

• Business Growth: Identify and secure new business opportunities with film production houses, commercial production agencies, boutique and large-scale equipment rental houses, and independent filmmakers.
• Sales & Account Management: Independently manage the end-to-end sales pipeline, from prospecting and cold-calling to technical consultations, closing deals, and post-sales support.
• Client Relations: Build, maintain, and leverage strong, long-term relationships with key industry stakeholders, Technical Directors, and Cinematographers.
• Product Expertise: Deliver technical product demonstrations and advise clients on high-end cinema equipment solutions (including cine cameras, lenses, stabilization systems, specialized grip, and cinematic lighting).
• Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of technological trends in the cinematic industry and monitor competitor activity to keep our product offerings competitive and forward-thinking.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of proven sales or business development experience specifically within the professional cinema, film production, or broadcast equipment industry.
• Industry Network: A strong, pre-existing network of industry contacts (production companies, rental houses, DPs, and media networks) is highly advantageous.
• Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of high-end cine gear, camera ecosystems, lens mechanics, and professional lighting setups.
• Attributes: Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently to meet or exceed commercial sales targets.

Preferred Industry Background

Candidates should ideally have experience or a strong track record in one or more of the following areas:

Cinema & High-End Commercial Film Production

Professional Camera & Cine Lens Distribution

Camera Equipment Rental Houses & Technical Crewing
