Business Proposal Specialist

We are looking for MS or Ph.D. graduates who have strong desire to grow a career and make an impact in pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.

This position is a great learning opportunity for the candidates who are new to biotech industry and biologics CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls). The new hire will be trained on CMC domain knowledge through well-designed comprehensive shorten-line courses and the routine work with experienced CMC lead team. Thetrainee will later on have career development opportunities tailored to his/herinterests such as process development, analytical science, GMP manufacturing,quality control, project management, as well as diverse conjugationtechnologies for antibody drug conjugates (ADCs).

Responsibilities

The primary role and responsibility of this special position will be writing CMC related contracts/proposals for WuXi XDC’s clients.

•       Prepare customized proposal based on template: Understand Request for Proposal (RFP)and Questionnaire for client, integrate project information and complete the proposal under guidance of technical experts and BD.

•       Follow the procedure and workflow, control the internal review and approval process to ensure timely proposal submission.

•       Functional liaison between BD and internal technical team, and provide right-on-target connection between client’s needs and internal expertise.

•       Continuously monitor and maintain the auxiliary database of proposal generation, and maintain standard procedure of proposal generation for continuous process optimization.

•       Maintain proposal templates, collect feedback and comments from technical experts and business teams, update proposal template including scope checklist and tracking sheet, and build proposal center of excellence.

Required Qualifications:

•       Master/Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering/Biology/Chemistry or related fields.

•       Basic understanding of technology and process of biopharmaceutical R&D(from academic or industry experience).

•       Self-motivated, highly flexible with the dynamic project activities and international work time zones.

•       Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and execute actions to ensure high‑quality deliverables under tight timelines.

•       Detail‑oriented with strong logical thinking ability, capable of multitasking and balancing technical and business needs.

•       Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
