Cloud Engineer ( Fresh Graduate )

Job Responsibilities

1. Support the daily operation of cloud infrastructure and production systems to help ensure service availability, stability, and performance.
2. Monitor production systems, assist in troubleshooting incidents, and perform routine operational tasks under the guidance of senior engineers.
3. Assist in deploying, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing cloud infrastructure, Linux servers, and containerized applications in accordance with operational best practices.
4. Participate in production changes, system upgrades, routine maintenance, and on-call rotations after successfully completing the required onboarding and training program. Compensatory time off will be provided in accordance with company policy.
5. Learn and contribute to automation initiatives through scripting, operational tools, and AI-assisted engineering workflows to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
6. Collaborate with software engineers, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues, improve system reliability, and continuously develop technical knowledge and engineering skills.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree (or expected graduation) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
2. Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts, Linux operating systems, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS), and system administration through coursework, projects, or internships.
3. Exposure to cloud platforms (such as Alibaba Cloud, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform), container technologies (Docker and Kubernetes), or virtualization technologies is an advantage but not required.
4. Basic programming or scripting skills in Python, Bash, Go, Java, or similar languages, with an interest in automation and cloud technologies.
5. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and a proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new technologies in a fast-paced engineering environment.
6. Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin to collaborate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, engineering teams, and business partners across regional markets.
