Cloud Engineer (Junior Level)

Job Responsibilities

1. Support the stability, reliability, and efficient operation of global business services, helping to maintain high availability of production systems.
2. Assist in deploying and operating cloud solutions in production environments, including resource provisioning, configuration, and operational support.
3. Perform server administration and cloud operations tasks, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response under guidance.
4. Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.
5. Participate in system optimization initiatives, including reliability, performance, scalability, and cost improvements.
6. Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to production incidents to ensure service continuity. Compensatory time off will be provided in accordance with company policy.
7. Learn and leverage AI-assisted engineering tools and coding agents to improve automation and operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Alternatively, candidates with up to 3 years of relevant experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or related roles are encouraged to apply.
3. Basic knowledge of Linux systems, networking, and cloud computing concepts.
4. Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, Go, or Shell scripting.
5. Exposure to cloud platforms such as Alibaba Cloud, AWS, or Azure is an advantage.
6. Basic understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD concepts is preferred.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
8. A strong team player with good communication skills, responsible, self-driven, and highly motivated.
9. Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English, in order to support coordination and collaboration with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, teams, and business partners across regional markets.
