Commercial Manager

Position Overview:
The incumbent is responsible for day-to-day operations of diverse fleet of commercially managed vessels.

Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for all aspects of commercial management of Tankers/parcel chemical tankers/Dry bulk fleet or any other type of ship managed commercially by Commercial Services engaged on voyage charter / time charter / Contract of Affreightment, etc.

2. Plan and execute procedures for bunkering, issuing of cargo / customs /freight documents, stowage plans, invoicing etc. and prepare voyage analysis result.

3. Monitor performance of vessels relative to c/p requirements on TC or voyage basis including speed and consumption

4. Identify any underperformance in a timely manner and take action to remedy any underperformance, and continuously seeks opportunities to improve performance and efficiencies

5. Mitigate potential issues with difficult cargoes, ports or trading areas

6. Relationship management with all stakeholders

7. Liaise within the Group and other business divisions to create synergies and project opportunities

8. Set KPIs for performance of team and monitor operational performance

9. Create market analysis & reports of different shipping sector

10.  Preparing monthly / weekly reports as required to assist with shipping asset protection work/restructuring undertaken with different banks and financial institution.

Requirements:

- Management of relationship with Customers, Charterers, Agents, Terminals, Cargo Receivers etc to ensure that service levels are maintained. 
- Degree in Nautical Sciences, Marine Engineering or other related discipline.
- Experience in Commercial operations and chartering
- Candidates with Master Mariner License will be preferred.
- Experience in Tankers, dry cargo and PCTC will be preferred.
- Experience in LPG Tankers will be preferred.
