Job Description - Customer Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Woodlands Spectrum (Nearest Admiralty MRT)

Working Hours: 9 AM - 6 PM

Monday - Friday

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Senior Customer Quality Assurance Engineer to manage customer quality issues, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure customer satisfaction through effective problem-solving and quality management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer complaints and quality-related feedback, ensuring timely investigation and resolution.
  • Lead root cause analysis and structured problem-solving activities using 8D methodology.
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions and verify their effectiveness.
  • Act as the primary quality contact for customers and support customer audits.
  • Monitor product quality performance and recommend improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate customer specification and drawing changes with internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Support and maintain Quality Management Systems including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
  • Conduct internal audits and support compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Customer Quality, Quality Assurance, or Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience handling customer complaints and driving quality improvements independently.
  • Strong knowledge of: 8D Problem Solving
  • Root Cause Analysis
  • FMEA
  • SPCControl
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience supporting China-based customers will be an advantage**
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
