Data Engineer (Senior)

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the research and development of data platform for xiaomi internet businesses.

2. Build the infrastructure and tools required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.

3. Design and implement Data as a Service ( DaaS ) for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in developing intelligent agile operation.

4. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.

Requirements:

1. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related fields.

Strong Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.

2. Good understanding of system performance and scaling.

3. Familiar with at least one of the languages, such as C++/GO/JAVA/Python, and have some experience in Linux shell development.

4. Have good team communication and collaboration skills.
