Data Tech Lead/ Data Developer Lead

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the construction, secure operation, maintenance, and development of core trading system databases and related foundational platforms.

• Responsible for database architecture design, maintenance, stored procedure development/debugging, ad-hoc queries, and other development tasks.

• Responsible for the development of database OLAP and OLTP systems.

• Analyze business requirements and collaborate with product teams to deliver data solutions that support product optimization and enhance user experience.

• Maintain database monitoring systems, identify and resolve data-level performance bottlenecks, optimize existing SQL queries, and provide recommendations for tuning problematic SQL.

• Handle troubleshooting and emergency responses; analyze and resolve database performance issues, debug stored procedures, and accurately locate root causes in a timely manner.

• Stay updated on the latest database technologies and tools, drive technical innovation and the adoption of best practices, and support data analysis and business decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Technology, or a related field.

• 5+ years of DBA work experience. Experience with consumer-facing (C-end) internet products, data architecture for millions of users, or similar domains is preferred. Rich experience in handling hundreds of millions of daily incremental data points is highly desired.

• Proficient in operating databases such as SQL Server and MySQL (experience with high-concurrency data processing systems is highly preferred).

• Highly proficient in OLAP and OLTP system development.

• Proficient in at least one Business Intelligence (BI) tool, with the ability to perform data integration, cleansing, and analysis effectively.

• Strong SQL writing and optimization skills, with practical experience in troubleshooting and performance tuning.

• Strong written communication, logical thinking, and data analysis skills; ability to independently analyze and solve complex problems.

• Detail-oriented, patient, calm, and responsible; possesses a passion for deeply researching data technologies, along with excellent communication skills and a strong team player attitude.
