Job Overview: 
We are seeking a Deployment Technician to join our engineering team. Your primary responsibility will be the hands-on deployment of robotic systems, along with providing essential technical support for both hardware and software components. This role is key to the successful operation and integration of our robotic solutions in various environments. 

Key Responsibilities: 
System Deployment: Deploy a range of systems including robotics, automation units, and their accessories, as well as software solutions. Responsibilities encompass installation, integration into operational environments, and coordination with teams to ensure adherence to project timelines. This may include overseas deployments when required. 

Technical Support: Provide robust technical support for a variety of systems, covering both hardware and software components. Address and resolve technical issues and engage in preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability. 

Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor and maintain various systems, ensuring their consistent performance and reliability. 

Hardware and Software Development: Engage in both hardware design and software development, including assembly, implementation, testing, and debugging. 

Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to the improvement of deployment processes and practices. 

Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive deployment documentation. 

Collaboration and Training: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, engineering interns, external customers, and internal stakeholders, to ensure smooth deployment. Provide training and support to end-users and contribute to team efforts in a collaborative manner. 

Pre-Sales Support: While the primary focus is on deployment, occasionally assist in pre-sales activities as needed. This includes demonstrating the technical capabilities of systems to potential clients and contributing to the development of proposals and presentations. 

Job Requirements: 
Education Background: Diploma in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, or Electrical Engineering). 

Experience Level: Open to fresh polytechnic graduates. 

Communication and Critical Thinking Skills: Strong abilities in communication and critical thinking. 

Teamwork Ability: Effective collaboration in a team environment. 

Passion for Robotics: Demonstrated interest in robotics and technological innovation. 

Willingness to Travel: Able and willing to travel overseas for deployment projects as required. 

Work Environment and Reporting Structure: 
Reporting: This position reports to the Deputy Director, Tech support & Deployment. 

Team Collaboration: Engage in collaborative work with external customers and an internal team of engineers and interns. 

On-Site Requirements: Willingness to perform on-site deployment tasks, including overseas assignments, as part of the job responsibilities. 

Flexible Scheduling: Flexibility to work night and weekend shifts as required.
