Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Draftsman is responsible for preparing, modifying, and maintaining detailed engineering drawings and technical documentation based on customer requirements, engineering specifications, and manufacturing standards.

The role is to support installation teams and submission to client for approval.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings using CAD or Sketchup software.

• Create equipment mounting detail drawings, cable routing drawings, and schematic drawings for submissions.

• Revise and update drawings based on engineering changes and customer requirements.

• Ensure all drawings comply with applicable standards, specifications, and company procedures.

• Generate Bills of Materials (BOM) and supporting technical documents.

• Coordinate with engineers, Project Manager, and client to clarify drawing requirements.

• Maintain drawing registers and document control systems.

• Review customer drawings and identify potential issues or discrepancies.

• Ensure proper filing and archiving of all engineering documents.

Requirements：

• Minimum ITE or certificate in CAD, or related certification.

• Minimum 2–5 years of drafting experience in a contruction or AV environment.

• Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD, or 3D drawing similar sketchup software.

• Ability to read and interpret contruction drawings and AV technical specifications.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CAD drawings or 3D drawing
