Electrical Engineer

Tasks & Responsibilities:

·       The Electrical & Electronics Engineer shallbe responsible to perform engineering analytics, provide engineering solutionsand perform defect investigations to support equipment refurbishment &maintenance projects. The candidate shall be required to independently conductdefect troubleshooting, failure analysis, engineering analysis and developengineering solutions to the problems identified. The candidate shall alsocollaborate with other internal and external stakeholders on engineering and maintenanceefforts and ensure high equipment reliability and availability.

• Lead in the development of engineering solutions, propose relevant modifications and work with Ops and Maintenance team to implement and validate safety and effectiveness of the solutions.
• Identify / develop / evaluate alternate parts, out-of-manual repair and modifications to support obsolescence management.
•  Lead the design, development, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems for industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
• Manage end-to-end engineering projects including planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, commissioning, and handover.
• Supervise electrical works, contractors, technicians, and site operations to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
• Perform troubleshooting, fault analysis, preventive maintenance, and corrective actions for electrical and electronic equipment.
• Review and approve electrical drawings, schematics, technical specifications, and engineering calculations.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, electrical codes, workplace safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to achieve project objectives.
• Lead upgrades, modernization, and optimization of electrical systems to improve efficiency, reliability, and energy performance.
•  Prepare technical reports, project documentation, maintenance records, and operational procedures.
• Support procurement activities including technical evaluations, vendor selection, and material approvals.
• Analyze system performance and recommend engineering solutions for operational improvements and cost reduction.
• Participate in risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Provide technical support during emergency breakdowns and critical operational situations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma-qualified Electrical & Electronics Engineer with over 10 to 25 years of experience in electrical systems, electronics maintenance, project management, troubleshooting, and industrial operations. Proven expertise in installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, team leadership, and ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards across diverse engineering environments.
