Electrical Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Electrical Engineer to lead and support electrical design activities for industrial automation and control systems projects. The ideal candidate will bring solid engineering knowledge, project management capability, and the ability to deliver quality solutions from design through to commissioning. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute electrical design for industrial automation and control systems projects, from concept to completion

• Design and develop electrical control panels, schematics, wiring diagrams, and single-line diagrams using relevant CAD tools

• Oversee system integration activities, ensuring seamless interface between electrical, instrumentation, and automation components

• Review tender documents, evaluate technical specifications, and prepare cost estimations for project bids

• Conduct technical evaluations of vendor proposals and recommend suitable solutions

• Liaise with clients, contractors, and vendors to clarify technical requirements and resolve engineering issues

• Ensure all designs comply with relevant Singapore standards, codes, and regulatory requirements (e.g. SS638, IEC standards)

• Support project teams during installation, testing, and commissioning phases

• Prepare and review engineering deliverables including calculations, reports, and method statements

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians

 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical design for industrial automation or control systems 

• Experience in tender review, technical evaluation, and cost estimation is preferred
