Electrical Technician (IoT Systems)

Job Summary

You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot IoT devices and electrical equipment at customer sites, perform site surveys and testing, prepare service reports, and provide technical support to ensure smooth system operation while complying with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot IoT devices and electrical equipment to ensure reliable system performance
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance at customer sites to minimize downtime
• Conduct site surveys, inspections, testing, and commissioning to verify system functionality
• Prepare detailed service reports and document test results for record-keeping and analysis
• Provide technical support to resolve system issues and maintain smooth operation
• Comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment
• Work independently and collaborate effectively with team members to complete tasks
• Communicate clearly and solve problems efficiently to support operational goals
• Adapt to night shift work schedules as required to meet service demands

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3A Driving Licence (essential for travel to customer sites)

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in electrical installation and maintenance to perform core technical tasks
• Basic knowledge of IoT systems to support device troubleshooting and maintenance
• ITE/Nitec or above in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related disciplines as educational background
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience to contribute effectively to job responsibilities
