Engineer

Job Description

• Work with Local Distributor of World Leading Manufacturer of Electric Heavy Commercial Vehicles. Overseas attachment and Training will be provided.
• Assist with and/or perform electrical system builds for vehicle platform. This includes high voltage components, 12V systems, wire harnesses, sensors, controllers, and other components.
• Work together with Technicians to perform test and validation plans, troubleshooting, and suggest/implement fixes to ensure premium standards are always upheld.
• Perform component tear-downs, benchmark assessments, and production builds of electrical components and other related hardware.
• Assist with basic programming and diagnostic work.
• Perform technical documentation work including drawings, BOM structures, standard work, and other warranty.
• Document best practices, identify and implement cost saving and safety initiatives.
• Adapt and learn new technologies and harness the technical know-how and contribute updates to project tracking.

Requirements

• Preferred candidates should possess a Degree in Mechatronic or Electrical Engineering.
• Fresh graduates are welcome, or candidate with relevant working experience in manufacturing, automation equipment or electric vehicles industries.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and select compatible components based on specifications to perform system functionality.
• Be a self-starter, team player, and a problem-solver.
• Pride in delivering high quality of work.
• A feeling of responsibility to keep things organized and clean, consistent work habits, detail oriented.
• Ability to perform on-site, physical work as typical to troubleshooting and repairing of Electric Heavy Commercial Vehicles.
• Fluent in Spoken/Written Mandarin is necessary.
